Located in the heart of Legioner, Pennsylvania, Diamond View is a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic A-Frame House, a structure that pays homage to traditional mountain cabins while embracing modern trends. This architecture and interior design project, by our studio, was designed to create a unique experience that fuses functionality with the beauty of the natural surroundings.
The house extends over four floors, starting with a basement dedicated to leisure. This level is equipped with an indoor golf course, a bar, a cinema and a large sofa, making it a perfect space for entertaining. From here, you access the exterior, where you will find a Jacuzzi, a sauna, and lounge areas with sofas around an outdoor fireplace, offering a complete immersion in nature.
On the main floor, the living room and kitchen are conceived as an open space that maximizes the views from an impressive bay window, creating a constant connection with the Legioner landscape. The central fireplace is the element that welcomes and warms the ambiance, while carefully selected furnishings from European brands add a touch of sophistication. A coffee corner, designed to be the perfect place for the first hours of the day, is integrated into this space, inviting enjoyment and tranquility.
The master bathroom, with two sculptural marble pieces that function as sinks, becomes the point of attraction from the hallway, with a design that combines art and functionality. The rooms of the house continue with this contemporary style that does not lose its rustic essence, surrounding the visitor with large windows that allow the exterior landscape to flow into the interior of each space.
One of the highlights of Diamond View is its loft on the top level, which offers a king size bed and panoramic views thanks to its huge windows. This space is not only a bedroom, but a refuge from which to enjoy the serenity of the natural surroundings.
The predominant materials in the house, such as light oak wood for the interiors, Wenge wood for doors and cabinets, and gray stone for the countertops, bring a sense of warmth and elegance, while the palette of natural tones harmonizes perfectly with the surroundings.
Diamond View is a manifestation of the balance between contemporary design, functionality and a deep respect for nature, creating a home that integrates seamlessly with its surroundings.
