About the project
Tabor will open its doors in 2025 in one of the most iconic streets of Barcelona's nightlife. This clandestine cocktail bar, accessed through a pop-up, is located in a basement transformed into a space that evokes the day-to-day life of circus performers, with all its dynamism and the complexity of their nomadic existence.
Inspired by the tabores - the carriages where artists lived and traveled - the space plays with fabrics, wallpapers, vibrant prints and a mix of textures, creating a sensory experience that transports the visitor to a universe of itinerant and free life. Every corner is designed to immerse the public in the fascinating madness of that world, offering a chic and glamorous atmosphere with a touch of spectacle.
Tabor is divided into several themed areas that explore various aspects of this life. The more intimate Bardo area is distinguished by an eclectic décor, with trinkets on the walls telling mysterious stories. Shuvani, another reserved area, is inspired by lust and animals, creating a sensory atmosphere charged with visual symbolism.
The challenge of Tabor's design lies in the complexity of mixing so many textures, patterns and vibrant colors. The result is a wild and fun space, where the combination of seemingly disparate elements intertwine in harmony, creating a unique atmosphere.
